In addition, it has collected 205 kinds of lotus seeds of different provenances and varieties, 1,247 kinds of molecular materials, become the most representative resource nursery with the most complete lotus resources in the world. Due to the outstanding work achievements, in Oct. 2016, Chenshan Botanical Garden's lotus resource nursery was certified by the International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society (IWGS) as an "International Lotus Collection" and selected by China Flower Association as "One of the First 37 National Flower Germplasm Banks", attracted extensive attention both at home and abroad.

The International Lotus Collection's establishment provides a good sharing platform for promoting lotus research, science popularization and industrial development.
